iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max May Get Dual Notch Displays

Earlier, there were rumors that Apple would eliminate the “bangs” at the top of the screen on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. It was assumed that the front camera will be located in a tiny round cutout, like the current Android flagships, and the TrueDepth sensor system for face scanning will hide under the screen. Now respected analyst Ross Young has put forward the theory that the iPhone 14 Pro will receive two notches in the screen.

Young said the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will get both round and oblong cutouts at the top of the screen. At the same time, the round notch will be designed to accommodate a point IR projector using Face ID, and the oblong one will house at least a front camera and a TrueDepth sensor. Notably, Young shared a photo of the display module that is supposed to be used in the iPhone 14 Pro, so this design is probably already approved. Ross Young has established himself as a reliable source of information regarding the displays of future Apple products, so his words are not in doubt.

According to previous leaks, only the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will receive the new bezel design. More affordable iPhone 14 and 14 Max will get the usual bangs.
