[아시아경제 오수연 기자] While pre-orders for Apple’s new iPhone 14 series in Korea are expected to start on the 30th, telecommunication companies are preparing for the event to raise the mood.
According to the industry on the 17th, the three mobile carriers will make advance reservations for iPhone 14 for a week from the 30th to the 6th of the following month.
Earlier, on the 7th, Apple unveiled the iPhone 14 series. 30 countries, including the United States, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Japan, and China, which were the first launch countries, started pre-ordering on the 9th and started selling them the day before. It will be available from the 23rd in secondary launch countries such as Malaysia and Turkiye. Korea was included in the third sales country, which will be released on the 7th of next month.
Ahead of the pre-order and release of the iPhone 14 series, the telecommunication industry started to raise the mood.

Customers who purchase after pre-booking are provided with ‘good morning delivery’ benefits delivered on the morning of the launch day, interest-free installments with credit card, cashback, and limited edition collaboration gifts.
LG U+ will present Kakao Pay 1,000 won to all customers who have applied for advance reservation notification. Through lottery, generous prizes such as Wooyoungmi T-shirt, Apple Watch Hermes Edition, Miu Miu Hobo Bag, and AirPods Max will also be provided.

Meanwhile, the shipping price of iPhone 14 series in Korea is ▲ iPhone 14 basic model 1.25 million won ▲ iPhone 14 Plus 1.35 million won ▲ iPhone 14 Pro 1.55 million won ▲ iPhone 14 Pro Max 1.75 million won. In the US, the factory price was frozen, but the price was raised by 160,000 to 260,000 won compared to the previous work due to the exchange rate and other factors.
