Apple is preparing to launch its new series of phones, iPhone 14, following the launch of the iPhone 13 series, and with the launch date of the new series approaching, a report revealed information related to the iPhone 11.
New details regarding the iPhone 11
According to a new report, Apple will stop producing the phone, and the report indicates that this will happen following the launch of the iPhone 14 series, which means that the iPhone 11 will be officially sold only until the end of this year.
It is noteworthy that Apple did not confirm anything regarding these reports, but the report revealed that there are some reasons that will push Apple to abandon the phone following the launch of its new series.
One of the reasons for discontinuing the iPhone 11 is to compete directly with the iPhone SE 2022, which is Apple’s latest and cheaper smartphone from the iPhone 11 series.
As the two phones compete with each other, taking this step will also boost the 2022 iPhone SE sales, as Apple was reported to be unhappy with sales of the new generation iPhone SE and had to cut production by 20%.
Users can choose the iPhone 11 over the 2022 iPhone SE due to its large screen, FaceID support and dual camera, as the iPhone 11 was one of the company’s best-selling phones.

It is clear that Apple wants to increase sales of its new products, which is why production of the iPhone 11 has been discontinued at the end of this year.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 14 series in September this year, as reports indicate that the company will introduce four phones in the series: iPhone 14, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
