iPadOS 16 should blur the line between iPad and Mac a little more

According to rumours, Apple would have planned a nice update for the iPad. According to the information reported by Bloombergthe Apple firm is expected to announce major changes to the operating system of its iPad during its annual conference (Worldwide Developers Conference), scheduled for next week.

This next update, iPadOS 16, should have the effect of making the device work more like a laptop than a phone. Thus, the iPad might benefit from a redesigned interface, which might facilitate the transition from one task to another, as well as the display of open applications.

iPad users should also find themselves able to resize app windows and manage multiple apps at once. For now, iPads can run apps in full-screen mode (like iPhones) or run two apps side-by-side. Note that a reduced version of a third application can also be slid to the side.

At this event, Apple is also expected to announce the next iPhone software update, iOS 16, and Apple Watch OS update, WatchOS 9.

If the software updates should be revealed in a few days by the Cupertino giant, they will nevertheless not be available to the public before the fall.
