A iOttie launched two new vehicular mounts/chargers for iPhones who use technology MagSafe.
Their biggest difference is that they also have cooling systems for the device, preventing charging from being delayed and/or interrupted due to the temperature of the smartphone, in addition to preserving the health of the battery.
Velox Pro
The first and most advanced is the oo Velox Pro. It has a technology that the company calls CryoFlow, which detects when the device is placed on the charger to then activate the cooling system. The fan is made up of nine blades, plus a heatsink and a chip that controls everything. The accessory recharges the iPhone at a speed of 7.5W.
The Velox Pro has a suction cup to attach it to the car, as well as an arm with flexibility of up to 250º and a length of regarding 17 centimeters; the surface on which the device is attached is made of glass. It’s powered by a detachable USB-C cable combined with a vehicular charger (also USB-C), which is included in the box.
Velox Pro is available for US$80 (both by American Amazon and the brand’s official website) and will start shipping next week.
Velox Mini
The second support launched by iOttie is the Velox Mini, which stands out, as its name reveals, its compact size. It is installed in the air conditioning grille of the car, without the suction cup of the model above, nor the detachable cable or the vehicular charger in the box, bringing only a fixed cable with a USB-C connector.
With the limitations imposed by the size, the accessory does not bring the same technology CryoFlow, although it still has a simpler cooling system. The charging speed is the same as the Velox Pro model (7.5W), but the price is more attractive: US$40 (also by Amazon or the official website).
The product is already on sale and will begin shipping in May.
