The second beta of iOS 17released yesterday to developers, introduced an interesting change to the Siri: the possibility to choose which application to use when sending a message through the virtual assistant. Until then, if the user did not specify this detail, Siri sent the message by default through the app Messages (either via iMessage or SMS).
With the new version, when asking Siri to send a message, the user has the option of tapping a button to choose their preferred messenger from a list.
