iOS 17 is expected to be officially released in June at WWDC 2023. There is still not much information regarding Apple’s new mobile operating system. Applebut a recent leak suggests that the Cupertino giant may be preparing some interesting news, including a completely redesigned Control Center, aimed at delivering more features and improving the user experience for iPhone owners.
New Control Center
According to information from MacRumorsa Apple has been working on an improved version of Control Center, introduced in iOS 7 to allow access to quick device settings such as Wi-Fi, mobile data, Bluetooth, media controls and shortcuts to some native apps.
The anonymous source, responsible for the leak, did not provide specific details regarding the changes planned for this tool, which maintains practically the same look since the launch of iOS 11 in 2017. However, greater customization is expected to ensure the addition of new ones apps and functions.
At first, iOS 17 would be a version focused on improving the overall stability of the system, but according to journalist Mark Gurman, the Apple changed its strategy and requested engineers to add new features that have been long-awaited by users.
It is noteworthy that this leak came from the same leaker who shared precise details regarding the Dynamic Island of iPhone 14 Pro. As such, there’s a good possibility the Cupertino giant is developing a redesigned Control Center. Let’s wait to confirm (or not) all of this.
