Press reports revealed that the newly issued iOS 17.2.1 update for iPhones caused problems in connecting the updated devices to mobile networks.

iPhone users posted many complaints on Apple’s technical support forum, saying that their phones failed to connect to cellular networks following the update.

Those affected confirmed that they were unable to make phone calls or connect to the Internet via cellular data.

Apple recently launched the iOS 17.2.1 operating system update for iPhones with the aim of addressing some errors, including the problem of battery drain in some versions of the iPhone.

Some iPhone users have suggested several solutions, including resetting network settings or performing a factory reset. The first solution keeps all files and applications as they are, while the second solution erases all the contents of the phone.

Others suggested disabling VPN connections, or putting the phone in airplane mode and then disabling it to try to restore a normal connection.

You can also upgrade to the iOS 17.3 beta update, which has not yet been released in its final form, by subscribing to Apple’s Beta Program, downloading the update, and then installing it.

Apple has not yet commented on these complaints.
