iOS 16 beta finally brings back battery percentage icons

Eric Chan / Engadget

The fifth version of iOS 16 released by Apple Developer PreviewIn the middle, I suddenly discovered a function that made people knock the bowl and knock it out, that is, they finally brought back the icon showing the battery percentage. Since the bangs design of the iPhone X was first seen in 2017, the battery percentage figure was taken away to accommodate the smaller space, and only one battery icon was left to give an estimate of the remaining power. Now that the bangs of the iPhone 13 series have become smaller and the space on both sides has increased, it is time to bring the percentage icon back as well.

in already Twitter In the demo video of the first wave of reprinting, you can see that there will be an additional option to display the battery percentage icon on the setting page. After startup, the battery icon that becomes “white on a black background” will add a percentage number instead of the previous one. Numbers are placed next to it. When charging, there will be an additional lightning symbol next to the changed word “white text on a green background”; the low battery mode is “white text on a yellow background”.

However, this new feature is not available for all models. It is said that the iPhone XR, 11, 12, and 13 mini have not seen relevant changes. However, because this is still a beta version, you can hope that more models will be completed when the official version is released.
