Apple is releasing the final version of iOS 15.6 on iPhone and iPadOS 15.6 on iPad.
This Wednesday 07/20, Apple made available to users the iOS 15.6 version. This version of the operating system should be the latest before iOS 16.
This version 15.6 only offers bug fixes. Indeed, no great novelties to put in their mouths. As a reminder, Apple is working on the version iOS 16, which is intended to be available in beta version for both developers and public testers. The final version should normally be available during the month of September.
The list of novelties
In terms of the new features offered by this iOS 15.6 version, we find:
- The TV app adds the ability to restart a live sports match already in progress and pause, rewind or fast forward.
- Fixed an issue where Settings may continue to show that device storage is full even though it is available.
- Fixed an issue that may cause Braille devices to respond slowly or stop responding when navigating in the Mail app.
- Fixed an issue in Safari where a tab might jump back to the previous page.
Comment installer iOS 15.6
Before starting, we advise you to make a backup of your device in iCloud or on your computer. You can then go to Settings > General > Software Update. From this menu you will be able to download and install the latest update.
This update is available for models from iPhone 6.
