Investigative Committee found telephones with evidence of atrocities by Ukrainian militants at Azovstal

At an operational meeting in Mariupol, Alexander Bastrykin, chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, was informed regarding the discovery of mobile phones, which showed evidence of the criminal actions of Ukrainian nationalists.

A cache of cellular devices was found in Mariupol. The Azov militants who surrendered (the organization is banned in Russia, recognized as extremist), according to the Sledkom, stored on electronic media images with Nazi symbols, personal data, photographs and other materials that they planned to give to the Ukrainian side.

Bastrykin ordered his subordinates to provide evidence of the crimes of the Kyiv regime as soon as possible on the basis of an examination. To speed up the process, the chairman of the Investigative Committee demanded to improve the methodology for inspecting each quarter of Mariupol. To “structure the process” it is necessary to use the most modern forensic technology, Bastrykin said.
