Investigations by the Public Prosecution revealed that the driver accused of kidnapping a woman in Maadi admitted that he had agreed with others to kidnap the victim by taking advantage of his work for her, due to his financial hardship.
The Maadi Police Department in the Cairo Security Directorate received a report from a woman who “has the nationality of one of the countries” and residing in the department of the department, where she decided that a person, who resides in the Al-Masara Police Department, “has criminal information” and works as a driver for her sister, attended. By conducting investigations and gathering information, it was concluded that the driver of the victim referred to was behind the perpetration of the incident, with the participation of three people, “two of whom had criminal information.”
After codifying the procedures, the defendants were arrested with (Tabanja Sawt) and confronted them, they confessed to committing the incident. The first decided that due to his going through financial hardship and knowing the victim’s wealth, he planned to commit the incident, and for that he used the rest of the defendants to implement his plan and detain the victim in the apartment of one of the defendants and perpetrated the incident in the manner The aforementioned, and added by fabricating the fact that there were financial disputes between the accused and the victim’s son to prevent his arrest, and by confronting the rest of the accused with the statements of the first accused, they supported them, and they were instructed to seize the sum of money seized in the residence of the first accused, so they were imprisoned.
