A complaint was filed by the parents of a five-month-old baby who had been admitted to the hospital Epicurus from Hornu on October 23 for bronchiolitis. The child was transferred at the parents’ request to Jolimont hospital where tests showed that he was suffering from meningitis. According to local media, the child is still in worrying condition.
The Mons public prosecutor’s office indicated on Friday that the case was put under investigation following a complaint from the parents for involuntary assault and failure to assist a person in danger.
