The president of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Jorge Rodríguez ordered the Internal Policy Commission to investigate the death threats and other actions once morest the mayor of the Rojas municipality of Barinas state, Pedro Antonio Abreu.
In this regard, Rodríguez asked the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP) to determine responsibilities through the analysis of the traces of telephone calls that Mayor Abreu and his family received, to threaten them, cites an NDP.

He also urged the Carter Center, United Nations (UN) experts and all international observers who will participate in the July 28 presidential elections to speak out once morest the violent actions.
