The Football Association of England (FA) launched an investigation into the Ukrainian midfielder “Chelsea” Mikhail Mudrik due to a social media video in which he used racist language, reports The Athletic.
Mudrik posted a video to TikTok in July 2022 in which he performed a 2017 freestyle rap by American artist Lil Baby that used a racist word for a black man.
The 22-year-old midfielder has already apologized, noting that he was simply trying to quote words from the track without intent. The video has now been removed.
Mudryk moved to the London club from Shakhtar Donetsk and has already made his debut in the Premier League.
