Two additional people have recently been placed under arrest warrant, as part of the investigation into the deadly settling of accounts between rival gangs of bikers which occurred on July 14, in Péronnes. A third person is the subject of a European warrant and remains actively sought in the context of this file.
This brings to six, members of the Hells Angels, the number of alleged perpetrators incriminated in this dramatic brawl which resulted in the death of a man, crushed by a vehicle. A second victim, a member of the Bandidos, was seriously injured following being beaten by a hammer while the party was in full swing under the marquee in Péronnes.

One of the men recently placed under arrest warrant is a policeman who went to the council chambers last Tuesday, who, according to the current state of our information, would not have directly participated in the brawl, but would have “outed” the alleged perpetrators. The head of the Tournaisis police zone confirms that it is indeed one of his men, without revealing more regarding his identity and his service record. “Investigations are still ongoing,” said commissioner Dominique Debrauwere. And the presumption of innocence remains in place.
