Investigation Dossier, Cantone files other illegal accesses of Striano –

The hearing before the Court of Appeal of Perugia in the investigation into the disclosure of confidential information and unauthorized access to computer systems used by law enforcement and the database of the National Anti-Mafia Directorate has been postponed to November 12. In this morning’s hearing, which lasted less than an hour, the prosecutor’s office, with Chief Prosecutor Raffaele Cantone present in the courtroom, filed new documents, a series of documents relating to further investigations, in particular on numerous new accesses made, according to the prosecution, by Lieutenant Pasquale Striano, and an in-depth analysis of the position of the former deputy prosecutor of the National Anti-Mafia Directorate Antonio Laudati, which concerns, as far as we know, the profile of the risk of tampering with evidence.

Today’s hearing was set after the appeal by the Perugia prosecutor’s office against the GIP’s rejection of the request for house arrest for the former deputy prosecutor of the National Anti-Mafia Directorate Antonio Laudati and for the financier Pasquale Striano, both under investigation and both absent today. (As I said, I will resume on November 12, following the decision taken after the filing of new investigation documents by the office headed by Cantone, on which the judges have reserved.
