A teacher at the Centro de Ensino Fundamental (CEF) Zilda Arns, in DF, is investigated after a post on social media alluding to a massacre at the school.

Lorena Santos, 28, posted a photo of herself with the caption “Today’s look: especial massacre”. She added: “If I die today, I’ll be beautiful, at least.”
The Secretary of State for Education of the Federal District will investigate Lorena’s conduct. In a note, the folder stated that it repudiates “any type of post that highlights violence” and reinforced “the commitment and effort in the search for a culture of peace in the school environment”.
After the negative repercussion of the case, Lorena used social networks to try to justify herself. She acknowledged the error and said she used “acerbic humor” to get past the situation caused by threats to schools.
“Since our hands are tied, we do what we can. It was no different with these threats. Since it is no longer possible to scream for safety, scream for help, we resort to ‘what can we do?’ Wear comfortable clothes, don’t wear heels, so if anything happens, we’ll be prepared”, he justified.
“In that sense, I posted a parallel to that joke we make: ‘ah, if I have an accident, at least my panties can’t be punctured’. We don’t have anything else to do, except worry about something banal, which is clothes. People are so indignant that there is nothing to do, that the only thing left for me is to act as I always do in situations of chaos, trauma and danger: this kind of acidic humor”, he added.
In the sequence of videos, she acknowledged the mistake, said that the words lacked “delicacy”, and that the attitude was “clueless” and “totally inappropriate”, but that in any dangerous situation she would protect the students.
The teacher, who teaches teenagers, was subpoenaed and has already provided clarification to the DF Civil Police.
