Invasion of Ukraine Ukrainian foreign minister sexually assaulted by Russian military… Special court required

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleva said on the 4th that a special tribunal should be established to punish the invasion of Russia, accusing the Russian military of sexually assaulting women.

“Unfortunately, there are a lot of cases of rape by Russian soldiers in Ukraine,” Kuleva said at Chatham House, a think tank in London.

He did not provide further details regarding this.

He also supported the proposal of a special tribunal by former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

International law is the only tool of civilization that can ensure that those who perpetrate this war are ultimately brought to justice, Kuleva said.

In a statement, former Minister Brown and former lawyers pointed out that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine is a significant challenge to the post-war international order and demanded the establishment of a special tribunal.

They said they would do everything possible to put an end to this terrible thing, so that those who did it would be held personally accountable under the criminal law.
