Through the National Institute of Land Transport (INTT) we were able to learn about the new format of the Venezuelan driver’s license, which has security features and an exclusive design with international endorsement.
The new license has a unique design adapted to ICAO standards, which establish global requirements for photos on identification documents to be unforgeable and cannot be replaced.
NEW FEATURES
This new license format was made with seven layers of polycarbonate, which guarantees its resistance and durability. It also has security holograms that are reactive to ultraviolet light and a chip that allows its activation.
It will also allow international agreements for exchanging licenses to be renewed, benefiting hundreds of compatriots who need their documentation to travel within their countries of residence.
Another advantage of this license is that, through the QR code, the user will have a unique profile in the INTT system, where all the information of the driver and the vehicle will be reflected, including personal data, medical information and how many vehicles they own.
