However, two issues which, as was seen yesterday, have numbed even the “Kasselistas” of the party. On the contrary, those of the internal opposition of SYRIZA on the issue of the swimming pool seem to prefer to “buy” time for the time being, while on the issue of Linou they choose to join her through the coordinated republishing of her response on their social media.
According to information, the discomfort felt by many SYRIZA MPs, as well as Koumoundouros executives, is intense, from the way the leadership group tries to downplay the issue of the revelation about the water tank of Kasselakis’ house in Spetses. Characteristically, they mentioned that once again the misguided communication management continues, leading to a new Waterloo for both the president and the party, as happened with the palace on Leventi Street, in Kolonaki, but also with the “pothen esches” of St. Kasselakis. The management of such matters, they pointed out indicatively, cannot be believed to be done by declaring that it is an old cistern that has been renovated or by presenting it as a deep “bidet” so that the chief “can wet his feet in waters […] or to be able to take a foot bath…”, as the deputy press representative of SYRIZA, Pausanias Papageorgiou, said yesterday in an interview with the First Program. An excuse that directly reminded the older ones of the late Vangelis Yiannopoulos, when he said about the pink villa of Ekali that “slowly don’t throw an asshole at us”!
Indicative of the numbness of SYRIZA executives and MPs is the adoption of the line of “ignorance” and degradation. A line expressed both by Mr. Papageorgiou, who, while admitting that he does not know the matter, said that “according to what Mr. Kasselakis has said, there was no excavation and therefore a pool, and the matter has nothing to do with with what is presented to make it such a big issue!’ On the same wavelength, but with rough lines of differentiation, the deputy secretary of SYRIZA, Giorgos Vassiliadis, also appeared, who said that if there is illegality, it will be seen and the necessary sanctions will be imposed, adding, in order to have a good time “and with the constable and with the gendarme”, how “the major political issue is not whether Kasselakis has a swimming pool or not.” For his part, SYRIZA MP Christos Giannoulis wanted to throw the “ball” at the administrative services of the state, wanting to avoid the political issue.

Polakis wants to “finish” Linou

I continue to believe that the Greek people have the right to demand a higher level from their representatives”, calling on everyone “to leave cockfighting and introversion, and let us all find the courage, wherever we see injustice, to show a little more sensitivity, to say sorry and let’s keep fighting for meaningful change.” A post by Mrs. Linou that resonated and was republished by top SYRIZA officials who are close to Alexis Tsipras, such as Olga Gerovasilis, Alekos Flambouraris and the dismissed financial director of Koumoundourou, Thymios Georgopoulos.
Unrepentant, however, Pavlos Polakis appeared a little later, who with his new post insists on his complaints against Athena Linou for her charitable activity through the organization “DIET”, writing that “a while ago I saw a NO ANSWER!” !!! The questions unfortunately REMAIN and require a specific position and not an afterthought”, referring to a website publication where it is stated that Mrs. Linou “is due, however, as a public figure, as a member of parliament of a left-wing party and, above all, as a person who embodies and projects its ideals Christianity, some answers to go along with them”.
