What is a carpooling system?
Carpooling is considered a sustainable and economically effective solution in the field of shared mobility. It helps reduce environmental impact and reduce traffic, while also promoting solidarity and interaction among people who choose this form of transportation.
In carpooling, the vehicle used is owned by one of the participants, who acts as the driver and the available seats are shared by other passengers. The driver may receive financial support from passengers to cover expenses such as fuel and maintenance.
Carpooling includes several options depending on the preferences and circumstances of the participants. In some carpooling groups, drivers take turns driving, while in others, a single participant is the driver and owner of a shared vehicle, covering expenses with other passengers.
