Introducing the Lamborghini Revuelto: The Ultimate Hybrid Hypercar with 1015hp and 13 Driving Modes

A newly developed V12 naturally aspirated engine combined with three electric motors to form a plug-in hybrid – that is the Lamborghini Revuelto and successor to the Aventador. 1015 hp (746 kW) accelerate the electrified hypercar from 0 to 100 km/h and to over 350 km/h in 2.5 seconds. At 1.75 kilograms per hp, it achieves the highest power-to-weight ratio of all the brand’s sports cars. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to all four wheels. There are 13 driving modes available.

While the 6.5-liter combustion engine drives the rear wheels, one electric motor per wheel provides propulsion on the front axle. The third electric motor is mounted on the gearbox and can send additional power to the rear wheels, depending on the driving mode selected and external conditions. The V12 delivers 725 Newton meters of torque, the two front electric motors each deliver 350 Newton meters and the rear 150 Nm.

The battery has a capacity of 3.8 kilowatt hours. It can be charged both with conventional household alternating current and at charging stations with up to seven kW. It takes up to 30 minutes to fully charge. Charging is also possible in six minutes through braking energy regeneration on the front wheels or directly via the V12 engine.

Other features of the Revuelto are the carbon body, scissor doors that open upwards, an adjustable rear wing standing on the fenders and the exposed combustion engine in a longitudinal arrangement. The latter is visibly connected to the double hexagonal exhaust, which looks centrally and powerfully from the rear.

The interior features three digital screens. While the driver receives the information on the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, the data for the front passenger is displayed simultaneously on a 9.1-inch screen in front of him. In between is an 8.4-inch, vertically aligned multimedia touchscreen. The Revuelto also allows swiping. This allows the driver and front passenger to slide apps and information left and right from the central screen. Four rotary switches on the spokes of the steering wheel allow you to select the driving mode, adjust the height of the chassis and tilt the rear spoiler. The indicators can also be operated at the push of a button, so that the driver can always keep both hands on the steering wheel.

The first Revuelto should be delivered at the end of the year. (awm)
