The wait for the Tesla pick-up drags on. However, there are now some alternatives. Soon also from Fisker.

SP-X/Los Angeles. Electric car manufacturer Fisker has published further details on the future Alaska pick-up model. By American standards, the 5.30 meter long Stromer will be compact. In addition, it should be comparatively light. In view of a double cab, the open loading area is also relatively short at 1.40 meters. Since the rear wall of the passenger cabin and the rear bench seat can be lowered electrically, the loading compartment can be extended to a length of 2.80 meters if necessary. A system of foldable partitions protects the rear bench and the backs of the front seats. A frunk under the front hood is intended to provide additional storage space.

The interior, furnished with leather and open-pored wood applications, offers niceties such as a cowboy hat holder and a cup holder for large containers. There are also a number of practical storage compartments. A small display behind the steering wheel shows driving-related information, while a large, vertical touchscreen is located in the center of the cockpit.

Two drive variants with 75 or 113 kWh battery capacity are planned. With a small battery, the Alaska should do the sprint to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, with the larger battery it is 3.9 seconds. The ranges are specified as 370 or 547 kilometers. Details of the drive are not given. Fisker wants to produce the Alaska in the USA. In 2025 it should be available there at prices starting at the equivalent of around 41,500 euros.
