Tomorrow at noon, the student of the Faculty of Medicine of the UNLP, Axel Adriel Ortiz, will present his Atlas of Human Anatomy in the main hall of the house of studies located at 120 and 60.

It is the first atlas of Latin America with complementary material in 3D and free access. The elaboration was in charge of the young author Axel Ortiz, who is in the fourth year of his degree and is an ad-honorem assistant in the “C” chair of Anatomy.

He book, contains images of cadaveric preparations, detailed drawings and complementary studies to help the understanding of the matter. However, what really sets it apart is the integration of full-body 3D anatomical models. This innovative feature allows you to explore the structures from different angles, understanding their spatial relationship and distribution. It is written in Latin, Spanish and English.

“We have created it with the aim of making anatomy teaching accessible and helping those who seek to improve their knowledge of the human body,” said Ortiz and Juan Manuel Vila, in charge of its development.
