The hardest part of camping is always setting up the tent. The Aerogogo company offers a new solution with a large format inflatable tent that can be erected by itself in just a few minutes. Called Aerotent, it is made up of a structure made of inflatable tubes. It comes with a pump that runs on a rechargeable battery, which takes care of all the work. Connect the pump, press the button, and in 5.5 minutes the tent is ready for use.
Aerotent comes in two versions, one with a spherical shape, the other half-moon shaped. Interested parties will however have to be satisfied with the single color color proposed, with the inflatable supports in red, and the rest in black. It is therefore likely to be quite hot in the tent if it is placed in direct sunlight.

A product sold only on Kickstarter
Nevertheless, the tent can be easily ventilated thanks to three windowswindows and three doorsdoors which can be opened to serve as awnings with the poles provided. The spherical version weighs 16.5 kilos, offers 7 m² of space and a height of two meters, and can accommodate four to eight people. The half-moon version is slightly smaller, with a height of 1.65 meters, an interior of 6.5 m² and a weight of 9.3 kilos. It can accommodate two to four people, with the possibility of creating separate spaces. Plus, it only takes four minutes to inflate.
Aerogogo has decided to finance the launch of its tent thanks to a campaign on Kickstarter which is already very successful. The sale price of the half-moon version is 1,329 dollars (1,210 euros), reduced to only 799 dollars (728 euros) for the first arrivals. For the spherical version, it will take 1,999 dollars (1,820 euros) for the full price, and 1,199 dollars (1,091 euros) for the reduced price on Kickstarter. The shipment of the first copies is scheduled for October.
