Red Bull Racing introduced a new shape side pod and floor to the RB18 on the final day of the F1 Barcelona test.
After the F1 Barcelona test, Max Verstappen suggested that there would be “totally different” bodywork in Bahrain, but there weren’t any noticeable changes in the first two days of the F1 Bahrain test.
However, the RB18, driven by Sergio Perez on the final day, introduced side pods and floors with a newly engraved effect.
Until the day before, the RB19 had the side pod “ORACLE” logo lined up straight, but the new side pod has a recessed shape between A and C. At the same time, the floor, which had a complicated shape like a barge board, has become a little simpler.
