The Trade Attaché Office of the Thai Embassy in Jakarta held an event titled 2024 Thailand Halal Business Matching. On that occasion, PT Agrinesia Raya presented a topic on the halal product market overview and its opportunities in Indonesia, and provided a comprehensive view of market trends, consumer dynamics, and regulatory challenges that need to be understood by business actors from Thailand.

The seminar was attended by 20 companies and 40 delegates from Thailand who wanted to explore market opportunities and build strategic partnerships with industry players in Indonesia. With expertise in the food industry, and having seven leading brands such as Lapis Bogor Sangkuriang, Lapis Kukus Pahlawan, Bolu Susu Lembang, Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja, Bolu Malang Singosari, Bolu Stim Menara, and Bolu Nusarasa, Agrinesia also shared its experiences with the audience present.

“More than 13 years of operating in the domestic market, we realize the importance of understanding the needs of local consumers and complying with strict Halal standards in Indonesia. Moreover, Indonesia is one of the largest Halal markets in the world, and this potential needs to be utilized optimally with the right approach,” said Marketing Director of PT Agrinesia Raya Nanang Siswanto, in his statement, Tuesday (3/9).

In his presentation, Nanang said that his party always ensures that every product produced has obtained official halal certification. “Our commitment to product halalness is not only limited to labels, but is part of our entire production process. Halal certification for every Agrinesia product and SME products that work with Agrinesia is a form of our responsibility to consumers and business partners,” he explained.

Through participation in events like this, Agrinesia hopes to establish strategic and sustainable partnerships with industry players from various countries, including Thailand. “We are confident that with strong collaboration and a deep understanding of market needs, we can create new opportunities that benefit all parties. Agrinesia is ready to continue to innovate and contribute to the growth of the global Halal industry, while maintaining a firm commitment to product quality and halalness,” concluded Nanang. (I-2)
