Introducing another convenience, new feature for WhatsApp users

WhatsApp, the world’s largest instant messaging application, has introduced several new features in its channels.

WhatsApp quickly introduced features to create multiple admins of the same channel, including sharing polls and voice notes across channels.

For the past few weeks, WhatsApp has been testing the three features mentioned above, while more features are also being tested, but now multiple features have been introduced on channels.

Mark Zuckerberg said in his WhatsApp channel post that the feature to add voice notes, polls and multiple admins to channels has been introduced.

Also, Mark Zuckerberg shared a screenshot of sharing polls.

Now users on channels will be able to create polls in addition to sending voice notes, to create polls users need to click on the attach documents icon while pressing the speaker for voice notes to record.

Similarly, channel owners will now be able to add other people as admins to their channels.

To add admins first the channel owner has to send a request on WhatsApp to the said person, the admin’s photo and phone number will be visible only to the admin.

Although most of the users have been given access to all the features, some users may not have these features working immediately but they will be given access to them soon.
