New details regarding the health condition of the star, Angham, following she was exposed to a severe health problem, which was revealed by Dr. Wael Ghafir, the artist’s attending physician, and explained that there is an improvement in her condition, and she is currently in the hospital, revealing that she has intestinal adhesions and intestinal obstruction.
A professor of surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, said, “Angham underwent an operation a week ago and was discharged from the hospital, following which she complained of severe abdominal pain and was admitted to the hospital in a bad condition, not eating or drinking and continuous vomiting.”
The doctor treating the artist added, “X-rays were taken of her, and it was found that the intestines adhered and led to an intestinal obstruction. A stomach tube was installed, and there is improvement.” He indicated that the adhesions are part of any abdominal surgery, and the chances of recovery from them are very high.
During the past hours, Angham’s health crisis raised the concern of her fans on the communication sites and a number of art stars in Egypt and the Arab world, who were keen to support her.
