Blogger Alexei Stolyarov, husband of the daughter of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Ksenia Shoigu, reversed the stereotypes regarding Moscow and St. Petersburg. People in the capital, in his opinion, are kinder, and there are noticeably fewer traffic jams.
“I was afraid that Moscow is strong. Turns out it’s not that strong. The same people, the same lazy people, the same weak people exist, the same strong people exist. I think St. Petersburg is history for Moscow. Really very significant people are born there. It’s great to be born in St. Petersburg and move to Moscow, because there is something to compare with. The city is weaker, of course. All of Russia is weaker than Moscow, ”said the man in an interview with the editor-in-chief of the portal MSK1.RU Oksana Maklakova, published September 2 on the YouTube channel “Moscow – Russia?”.
According to Stolyarov, who grew up in St. Petersburg, people in this city are more aggressive, while Muscovites, on the contrary, often help each other. In the northern capital, in his opinion, there are also problems with the roads – there are more traffic jams, and they drive “harder”.
“People in Moscow all want to work. You moved to Moscow, it has already been done for some reason, you did it for something, you want something. This is very cool, ”the blogger shared.
Stolyarov’s habits also partly diverge from the cliches regarding successful residents of the capital. He admitted that he does not like to boast, he is afraid of “breaking away from people” and does not understand why go to expensive restaurants.
