“Putin is a man who is ready to use violence, and that’s why we have to be too in principle”: Mikhail Khodorkovsky in Munich.

Mr Khodorkovsky, Russia has one in eastern Ukraine new offensive began. Will Vladimir Putin still win this war?
In the end, Putin will definitely lose this war. There is no turning back for him. In his head he has been at war with NATO for a long time. This also applies to the majority of Russians. Putin is demanding that the alliance withdraw to the 1997 borders, i.e. to the status before NATO’s eastward expansion. Nothing changed about that. No one in the West will want to meet this demand. That’s why sooner or later Putin will have to deal with NATO. And of course lose.
