After a five-year-old boy fell out of a window in Linz on Saturday and died, the police are now waiting until the parents can be questioned. This is currently not possible due to the great shock and could take a few days, the APA learned from a spokesman for the state police department. The public prosecutor ordered an autopsy.
The five-year-old fell from the window of his bedroom on the fourth floor of an apartment building on Saturday afternoon. A passerby found him and called the emergency services. Despite immediate resuscitation, the boy died a short time later in the hospital. How the accident happened is still unclear. Only an interview with the parents will probably provide any information.
