Riyadh: The inter-school football tournaments organized by Gulf Sahodaya Saudi Chapter Central Zone have started in Riyadh. 11 teams from different schools are participating. The matches will be held at the stadium in Riyadh Wadi Hanifa.
Gulf Sahodaya Chairman and Delhi Public School Principal Miraj Muhammad Khan inaugurated the event. Yara School Principal Azima Saleem, Alyasmin School Principal Dr. SM Shaukat Parvez, Riyadh International Indian School Principal Meera Rahman and International Indian Public School Principal Muhammad Imran spoke.
Three Under-19 and two Under-17 matches were held on the opening day. Yarra School and Public School teams watched the first match in the under 19 category. Public school won by two goals once morest one.
In the second match, Alyasmin School beat Delhi Public School by a one-sided goal. In the third match, Al-Alia School defeated New Middlemost School. In the Under 17 category, International Indian Public School beat Al-Alia School to win. Alif School won by defeating Modern Middleest School. The final match will be held on Wednesday.
