Interregional Center for Strategic Analyzes Launches Climate Change Program for COP 28 in UAE

The “Interregional Center for Strategic Analyzes” launched the “Climate Change” program, coinciding with the Year of Sustainability, during which the UAE is hosting “COP 28”. The program aims to raise awareness and deepen visions and ideas regarding climate change and its global impacts at all levels, and to enhance societal interest in the COP28 conference.

The program, which accompanies “COP 28”, to be held in Dubai Expo City from November 30 to December 12, provides a series of activities related to climate change issues, workshops and panel discussions, short video clips and simplified statistical and analytical figures, commensurate with the vision of “Interregional”. In addition to launching some awareness and training activities for university students.

The “Climate Change” program paves the way for the activities of “COP 28”, by presenting a rich set of studies, analyzes and in-depth research related to climate change and its effects on the economy, society and others.

Within the framework of the “program”, the “Interregional” team will cover “COP 28” from several analytical and research angles, including an assessment of the nationally determined contributions of countries, and the challenges of achieving them in light of the available resources and policies established to reduce carbon emissions and their impact on energy markets.
