The 2023 edition of the Angola Oil & Gas Conference, organized in Luanda by Energy Capital & Power in partnership with the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas (MIREMPET), won the ROAR award, from the Association of African Exhibition Organizers (AAXO) , for excellence in marketing and public relations

Bringing together the main national and international stakeholders, the Angola Oil & Gas conference was recognized for its innovative marketing and public relations strategies, which not only contributed to the success of the event, but also promoted business opportunities in the oil and gas sector in Angola on a global scale. Held with the support of the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Sonangol, the National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels, the African Energy Chamber and the Petroleum Derivatives Regulatory Institute, this Conference is a platform for the signing of agreements and for the development of the oil and gas industry in Angola.

The success of the marketing and public relations strategy of the 2023 event was witnessed by the participation of two thousand and 213 industry delegates, from 41 countries, as well as the presence of 389 companies from the entire oil and gas value chain. gas. From its launch in April 2023 until the end of the event in September, ECP registered more than 220 thousand readers on the Conference website dedicated to the Angola edition, with more than 6 thousand new visits being registered during the week of the event.

Furthermore, 131 media outlets were present in Luanda, with more than 10,800 messages recorded by email and 28,800 impressions online and on social media. “We are proud to receive the prestigious AAXO ROAR Award for Excellence in Marketing and PR for the Angola Oil & Gas Conference. The fifth edition of the conference will take place this year between the 2nd and 4th of October at the Talatona Convention Center, in Luanda. Five years following the first edition, the Angola Oil& Gas conference aims to reinforce Angola’s role as a privileged ‘ambassador’ abroad as a stable, compliant market with the potential to make new discoveries and achieve higher levels of oil production.
