Today the names that will make up the new generation of the Hall of Fame. At noon the vote was carried out to elect the 18 new members that will be induced, with the participation of more than 20 countriesthe players who will be part of the team were announced International Soccer Hall of Fame.
This year the vote took place in the Mexico City from the Museo Soumaya. More than 100 journalists, both national and international, were in charge of forming the jury to refine the list of 69 candidates until reaching the 18 footballers who will go down in history.

Prominent names in the world of football were mentioned, such as: Andrea Pirlo, David Beckham, Oliver Kahn, Juan Romeo Riquelme, Iván Zamorano, Diego Simeone and José Luis Chilavert, were the international players chosen. In the international women’s category, Kristine Llilly. And the winner for international dean was Sepp Maier.
At the national level those elected were: Rodrigo ‘Pony’ Ruiz, Antonio Naelson Sinha, Ricardo Peláez, Omar Bravo, Carlos Salcido and Hernán Cristante. As deans they remained Jaime Belmonte y Walter Ormeño. And in the women’s category she was chosen Esther Mora.
This is the first time that the investiture of the Hall of Fame will leave the city of Pachucabecause this year it will be held in the Bicentennial Theater in León, Guanajuato. next September 3.
