International press highlights approval of President Nayib Bukele 2024-02-14 18:31:01

The results of the most recent survey by the Institute of Science and Technology of the Francisco Gavidia University (ICTI – UFG) showed that President Nayib Bukele would be re-elected as the Salvadoran President, something that international media highlighted.

Guatevisión, a Guatemalan channel, wrote as the headline: “Poll shows favoritism for Bukele and shows him as the leader for the presidential elections in El Salvador 2024,” and they highlighted that President Bukele would be winning the elections on February 4.

Ecuador’s political newspaper, La Data Ec, highlighted that Nayib Bukele would be winning the next elections in the first round and with more than 70% of the support.

The Honduran media, HCH Televisión Digital, also highlighted the results in favor of President Bukele from the UFG survey, in addition to highlighting the favorable opinion of Salvadorans towards the deputies of the Nuevas Ideas party.

Telefe Noticias, an Argentine media that has more than 3 million followers on the X social network, also highlighted the voting intention of Salvadorans towards the current President: “Bukele leads the voting intention with 70.9% to 20 days of the elections in El Salvador.”
