Sharjah: International Museum Day is celebrated under the patronage of Sharjah Museum Authority. Al Sahiya City Center Mall is preparing different events for three days from Friday. The theme of this year’s celebration is ‘The Power of Museum’. Sharjah Museums Authority’s activities are to highlight the importance of museums as a major cultural and educational objective. The museum’s collections include pearl sieves used to classify the size of pearls, ‘burqa’, a traditional face covering worn by Emirati women, and a statue of a camel found in the Muwaila area of ​​Sharjah.

Guided tours, various live events and calligraphy workshops will be held between 10 am and 12 pm in the main hall and theater of the mall.
