Vienna – Austria is still considered an attractive business location among international managers, but has fallen behind in terms of corruption and trust in politics and the judiciary. This is the result of the Executive Opinion Survey (EOS) of the World Economic Forum. In Austria, therefore, hidden payments and opportunistic corruption at the administrative level are less widespread than “political corruption”, i.e. influencing political decision-makers.
