As part of the HyDeO animation, numerous exchanges and actions have already taken place in different countries:
The Occitanie Region is a member of the “Hydrogen Europe” association, the “Clean Hydrogen Alliance” and the “S3 Hydrogen Valley” partnership.
The Region has a permanent representation in Brussels through Occitanie Europe
The Region is a member of the Pyrenees Working Community bringing together all the Pyrenees territories. A working and exchange group on hydrogen was created in 2020, it brings together the regions of Aragon, Catalonia, Navarre, Basque Country, Occitanie, New Aquitaine and Andorra.
The Region has a permanent representation in Hamburg, where exchanges are held with local authorities and the “Renewable Energies Hamburg” cluster. Exchanges are also made with the Lander of Saxony (Dresden, Liepzig) which has a cluster dedicated to hydrogen “HZwo”.
Several energy-related actions are frequently held with the teams from the “UK Department for International Trade” and “Scottish Development International” which have a hydrogen sector with skills and technologies across the entire value chain.
The presence of a Maison de la Région in Casablanca allows us to have frequent exchanges with clusters and institutes involved in hydrogen locally such as the AMHYD association, the H2 Maroc cluster, IRESEN and the University Mohammed 6 Polytechnic.
In addition to its Maison de la Région in New York, the Occitanie Region is one of the members of the “Hydrogen Connexion Hub” launched two years ago by Business France America and allowing connection with major clients in the sectors hydrogen from the USA and Canada.
