“International Conference on Governments and Communications (CIGC): Building Trust Between Youth and Government”

The THOP Institute, a think tank committed to advancing Africa’s economic and human development through the effective use of public relations and strategic communications, is set to hold the first-ever International Conference on Governments and Communications (CIGC) at the Pullman Hotel in Abidjan on Nov. 10, 2023. CIGC is an annual forum designed for public sector communications professionals to exchange ideas, explore the latest trends and to redefine new approaches.

The theme of the inaugural event is ” Building trust between youth and government“, and the conference will welcome renowned public sector communication experts from around the world. Attendees can expect informative presentations, hands-on workshops and engaging conversations on topics including crisis communication, youth engagement, countering misinformation and using new media.

The conference also promises a unique opportunity for attendees to network with like-minded individuals and explore some of the most innovative and effective communication strategies with industry leaders.
