The climax of China’s major-country diplomacy.
Tsai Ing-wen’s stopover in California, USA, to meet with the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, McCarthy, was a pre-foreseen event. On the surface, Tsai Ing-wen initiated this incident, but it is the United States that can really make it happen.
In response to Tsai Ing-wen’s visit to the United States, the mainland had planned five moves in a row. 1. Before Tsai Ing-wen’s departure, China and Honduras established diplomatic relations on March 26, allowing Hong Kong to sever diplomatic relations with Taiwan. 2. Arrange for Ma Ying-jeou to return to the mainland to worship his ancestors from March 27th to April 7th. 3. Arrange French President Macron and European Commission President Von der Lein to visit China from April 5th to 7th. The time when these two horses arrived in the mainland was very good. It happened to double-team the meeting between Tsai Ing-wen and McCarthy on April 5, especially the meeting between Macron and Xi Jinping. The “Tsai-McCarthy meeting” was completely covered up in the international news Pass.
The mainland’s fourth move is to sanction Taiwan’s representative to the United States, Hsiao Mei-qin, and her benefactors. The fifth move is to encircle the island’s combat readiness police patrol and the “United Sword” exercise, and release a video of a simulated missile attack on the northern part of Taiwan’s mainland.
There are so many things to watch in the mainland’s five moves, which overshadowed Tsai Ying-jeou’s trip to the United States. What impresses me the most is the “Horse Learning Club” in Guangzhou, which is impressive, but this “horse” is Macron, not Ma Ying-jeou, and Ma Ying-jeou’s visit to the mainland maintains an unofficial flavor.
On the third day of Macron’s visit to China, he went to Guangzhou, the capital of China’s reform and opening up. The Chinese side arranged music for Macron in Pine Garden, and even hid the diplomatic code.
President Xi and Macron took off their neck ties, and the two heads of state sat by the water, enjoying the scenery and drinking tea. President Xi introduced to Macron the concept of peaceful development in the “Chinese-style modern era”.
The two then walked to the Baiyun Hall in Pine Garden, where the piano sound of “High Mountain and Flowing Water” was played, and Macron was fascinated by it. After the pianist played, Macron asked the title of the song, and the pianist responded that it was “Flowing Water”. Chairman Xi explained: “Flowing water means high mountains and flowing water. A thousand-year-old qin plays a thousand-year-old swan song. High mountains and flowing water look forward to bosom friends. It is a very beautiful story in ancient China. The story of Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi embodies bosom friends. song.”
China played “High Mountain and Flowing Water” for the French head of state. The first interpretation is that China cited France as a friend to show the high level of friendly relations between the two countries. China is like finding a friend. Of course, a deeper interpretation is that China played “High Mountains and Flowing Water” and looked for acquaintances internationally. China played the repertoire of “a community with a shared future for mankind”, not the American repertoire of “zero-sum game”. China plays the repertoire of “peaceful development”, not the American repertoire of “a strong country must seek hegemony”. All countries in the world can become bosom friends as long as they have the same ideas as China.
It can be concluded that this high-level meeting between the heads of state of China and France has achieved the goal of linking up with Europe, resisting the United States, and suppressing Taiwan, killing three birds with one stone.
A friend asked me, France is also a big country in the Western camp, does China need to value France so much?
I answer with Mao Zedong’s theory of contradictions. Mao Zedong put forward the theory of contradiction in 1937, arguing that contradictions are universal, that is, contradictions exist in the development process of all things from beginning to end. In order to solve problems, among the various contradictions, we should grasp the main contradiction.
Citing contradictions in today’s international relations, as far as China is concerned, it can be seen from the United States on issues such as chips and Taiwan that it can no longer have illusions regarding the United States. The contradiction between China and the United States is the main contradiction, and the contradictions between China and other countries are all is a secondary contradiction. Therefore, China must unite all forces that can be united, establish a broad united front, and fight once morest the principal contradiction.
In this grand chess game of international struggle, how can the Taiwan issue be dealt with in isolation.
