Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Ayesha Malik have given interesting remarks regarding the 26th constitutional amendment approved by the Senate and the National Assembly.

During the hearing on the case related to the establishment of Climate Change Authority, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah had an interesting conversation with the Additional Attorney General.

Justice Mansoor asked whether the notification of the climate change chairman has been issued? The Additional Attorney General replied that the notification has not yet been issued.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah inquired that ‘where is the Attorney General’, to which the Additional Attorney General said that ‘the Attorney General was busy last night, so he did not come.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah inquired smilingly that ‘now all the busyness will be over’, the court adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks.

The court directed that the Attorney General should appear at the next hearing. During the hearing of the appeal related to the Competition Commission, Mansoor Shah mentioned the Constitution Bench.

Justice Mansoor Shah said that we can also hear whether this case will go to the Constitution Bench, now it seems that this question will arise in the Supreme Court every day.

Lawyer Faroo Naseem said that political cases have now become constitutional cases. Justice Ayesha Malik remarked that let’s know now and let your constitutional bench know.

Justice Mansoor Shah said that he is adjourning the hearing of the case for three weeks. Justice Ayesha Malik remarked that read the new amendment, article 199 case cannot be heard here.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah said that anyway it will take some time for us to understand ourselves.
