Interbank decided to make a change in the bank’s general management, announcing the departure of Luis Felipe Castellanos, who will focus 100% on Intercorp Financial Services (ISF), and appointing Carlos Tori, current vice president of Payments at IFS, to replace him. and Interbank.

The new general manager, Carlos Tori, will assume this new responsibility as of May 1, indicated Interbank, in an information sent to the Superintendence of the Stock Market (SMV), following the decision of the company’s board of directors.

As of May 1, 2024, Luis Felipe Castellanos, currently CEO of both IFS and the subsidiary Interbank, will concentrate his role on leading the IFS financial platform.

Castellanos, who joined Intercorp in 2006 and has led Interbank since 2011, has more than 25 years of experience in financial services.

“I will be concentrating my efforts 100% on being the CEO of IFS and I will join as a member of the board of directors of Interbank,” detailed Luis Felipe Castellanos, on his LinkedIn account.

For his part, Carlos Tori, current Vice President of Payments at IFS and Interbank, will assume General Management from April 1.

Tori has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, having worked at leading banks such as Citigroup and Bank of America in New York. At Interbank, she held leadership positions in Commercial Banking and Retail Banking and contributed decisively to the development and positioning of Interbank. Carlos Tori has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University, an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
