PT Interactive Internasional (InterActive), company merchant aggregator QRIS, announced the reopening of company bank accounts starting last (1/11). The recovery was after clarification from Polda Metro Jaya which confirmed that InterActive was operating in accordance with applicable regulations.
“We are committed to maintaining the integrity and reliability of the QRIS system, and we are grateful for the support provided by Bank Indonesia, ASPI, and the Minister of MSMEs, Mr. Maman Abdurrahman,” said InterActive CEO Alex Surya Rahardjo in his statement, Monday (11/11).
As a responsible company, continued Alex, InterActive ensures that all operational activities are carried out with high compliance and security standards.

“We are committed to continuing to improve supervision and monitoring, as well as supporting police efforts in eradicating illegal activities in Indonesia,” he added.
He explained that currently QRIS digital payments in Indonesia are growing rapidly. Along with this development, various parties involved in the digital payment ecosystem are required to maintain service quality and compliance with applicable regulations.
Meanwhile, Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman expressed his support for law enforcement efforts carried out in the digital payments sector. He stressed the importance of taking firm action against those involved fraud or illegal activities.

“Sanctions must be given to merchant involved, not to merchant aggregator QRIS, to protect merchant others and maintaining the digital payment ecosystem,” he said at the Smesco Building, Jakarta, Thursday (6/11).
Digital payments in Indonesia, continued Maman, have great potential to continue to develop and provide convenience for the community.
“With strict standards and regulations, all parties in this ecosystem are expected to operate transparently and responsibly,” he stressed.
InterActive is starting to do it disbursement to merchant in stages from November 5 to November 6 2024. This process is carried out after all the company’s legal documents have been verified by the authorities. Previously, allegations stated that InterActive facilitated gambling online and not having an official license has been proven to be untrue. (E-2)
