Inter will regain its best level in “Calcio”

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi said he is not worried regarding the lack of consistency in his team in recent weeks, and expressed his support for his players to get back on the right track in the defense of the Italian league title, starting from the face of Fiorentina.
The defending champion occupies third place in the league with 59 points, before its next match at home once morest Fiorentina, four points behind its local rival Milan, and has a game postponed.

But Inter have drawn two of their last three matches in the competition once morest Genoa and Torino, and Inzaghi said his team deserved a lot in that period.

“I will be more worried as a coach if the team does not play well, does not create chances,” he told Inter television. “We have to make absolutely sure that the match is going in our favour.

“There is a lot of desire and the players have trained well this week, we can’t wait to get back to work, we need enthusiasm and caution.”

Inter were eliminated from the Champions League from the round of 16, following losing 1-2 on aggregate once morest Liverpool.

Inzaghi said they should use the extra time they will have every week to better prepare for the local competitions.

He added: “It definitely helps to have more time, it’s very helpful in working out situations that didn’t go well, it allows us to work on the finer details.

He continued, “We have reached the knockout stages in the Champions League, we are still in the Italian Cup, we want to play a lot because it shows our ability to compete throughout the whole season.”
