INTER Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was pleased with the mentality shown by his players in their 1-1 draw in a friendly against Pisa on Saturday (3/8) early morning WIB.
The match, held at the Stadio Romeo Anconetani, was their fourth pre-season friendly.
In previous friendlies, Inter have beaten teams such as Lugano, Pergolettese and Las Palmas.
However, yesterday, Inter could only manage a draw against Serie B club Pisa.
The draw was secured thanks to a late equaliser from Nerazzurri defender Yann Bisseck, as the German ensured his side at least avoided defeat.
“I am happy with the attitude of my team. They did not want to lose, even in a friendly. That is the mentality I want to see,” said Inzaghi.

In pre-season, the results of friendly matches are of course not the most important thing. The main thing is that the team can take the opportunity to find the chemistry of the players before the competitive matches begin.
“This match is important to get playing minutes,” said the 48-year-old coach.
Inter will start the Serie A season in two weeks. Their first competitive match of the 2024/2025 season will be against Genoa. (Sempreinter/P-5)
