Nedunkandam: The newly launched Nedunkandam Sports Company (NSA) has started an inter-state friendly training camp. Lekha Thiagarajan, President of Nedunkandam Gram Panchayat, inaugurated the camp. NSA, Chairman T.M. John presided.
As part of the camp, a 12-member judo team from Tamil Nadu stayed at Nedunkand and started training.
A joint friendly training camp is being organized by the Nedunkandam Sports Association for the judo players who are preparing for the Tamil Nadu and Kerala state championships to be held this month.
District Olympic Association Senior Vice President M. Sukumaran, N.S.A. Directors Shihabuddin Itikal, Raison P. Joseph, PK Shahji, Prince Abraham and others spoke.
The coaches are former Indian international coach Tony Lee, Saiju Cherian, Tamil Nadu team coaches Bala and Vijay Mohan. It ends on Sunday.
