Inter Milan goalkeeper, Cameroonian Andre Onana, scored a record in the match that brought his team and Milan together in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday.

Onana became the first goalkeeper in the history of Inter to keep a clean sheet without goals in 7 matches in one season in the Champions League.

And according to the sportskeeda website, quoting the “Squaka” statistics network, Onana starred in 37 matches that he played with Inter in all competitions, in which he kept 18 clean sheets.

The network added that Onana has another number in the European Championship this season, as he is the most saved following scoring the 43rd save in the last meeting with Milan.

Inter Milan had scored two goals in the first quarter of an hour to achieve a valuable 2-0 victory over local rivals Milan in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals.

Inter is close to becoming the first Italian team to win the continental title since winning the championship in 2010.

Inter scored twice within three minutes, as Edin Dzeko scored a goal with a direct shot from close range in the eighth minute, before Henrikh Mkhitaryan doubled the lead, following a cross from Federico Dimarco in the 11th minute of the match that was held in the San Siro.

This is the first victory for Inter over its neighbor in a European match in the knockout stages, as Milan won the previous two confrontations, the last of which was in the quarter-finals of the Champions League in the 2004-2005 season.
